Off-the-Loom Needleweaving

Learn how to set up the hoop. Choose a design, warp the hoop, and start weaving. The 3-hour class is held during studio hours or by appointment. Stop by or call to arrange times.

Explore Silk Ribbon Embroidery

Learn basic stitches while making a needle case for your ribbon embroidery needles. This 3 hour class is held during studio hours. Call to arrange a time.

Yarn Dyeing

Learn the basics of handpainting wool yarns with acid dyes and create two of your own custom yarns. One will be varigated and one self-striping pre-knitted blank. Please remember to bring an apron or wear clothes you don't mind getting stained! Class size is limited to four. Call or stop by to arrange a time. The class is 3 hours.

Beginning Weaving

Learn how to prepare a warp and loom, and learn to weave on a Fiber FUN Studio loom. Weave a plain weave scarf and a pattern weave project. Classes are 4 sessions of 3 hours each. Class times are scheduled to suit individual needs. Call or stop in to arrange times.

Intermediate Weaving

Pick a weave structure from Deborah Chandler's book, and use it to weave a table runner or four placemats on a Fiber FUN Studio loom. Call or stop in to arrange times.

Project Weaving

Prerequisite:
must know how to weave.

Plan a project and rent studio loom time at $5 per hour. Call or stop in to arrange times.

Rigid Heddle Loom Weaving

On Saturdays for ages 10 years and up. Learn to direct warp and thread a rigid heddle loom and weave a scarf. Just stop in. Give yourself 2-3 hours to complete your scarf.
Cost: $10 plus materials.

Knitting Classes

Beginning Knitting, Knitting Socks, Designing Sweaters, Mitered Squares, Finishing, Moebius Band-Style Shoulder Wrap, Entrelac or your choice. Call or stop in to arrange times.
Cost: $10 per hour.

Crochet Classes
